In Person Worship Postponed

Given Governor Wolf’s order on July 15, 2020 restricting indoor gatherings to groups of 25 or fewer people, Trinity is postponing our plan to gather for in-person worship that was set to begin on July 19.

Worship continues! Throughout this epidemic, God gathers us together for worship in Word, prayer and song online via Facebook Live and our no-pin telephone conference line. Join us Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on our Facebook page or call in at 215-258-9701. While we long for the day when we will gather again in person, we rest in the assurance that Christ is present with us by the imaginative power of the Spirit no matter how we gather.

The church’s mission continues! In this time, we have been growing in the ways we are “church” outside of the walls of our building. I give thanks for all the ways we continue to creatively share God’s good news with one another and our community. Keep praying for one another, checking in on friends and neighbors, gathering together on Zoom, giving to those in need and imagining ways to be the church outside the walls of the building. Leadership is currently exploring how we can gather outside as a community. Stay tuned!

And, thank you to our leaders and staff who continue to discern and plan for the ministry of Trinity in the midst of ever-changing situations that we’ve never experienced before. Their wisdom, agility and creativity are blessings in this time. Thanks be to God!
